So, what do you have to say about this movie series that have become as recognizable as Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and even the crap fest Friday the 13?
That I do not believe that Friday The 13th(1980) was a "crap fest". I will admit that later installments in the "Friday The 13th" series were subpar but IMO the first three films in this series are fairly good. The first one helped establish the "slasher" horror genre. Considering director Sean Cunningham's low budget for the initial "Friday" film I thought he did a great job making an entertaining film without a whole lot of money to work with.

As to Scream(1996) I liked it okay. I have only seen the first "Scream" film. I have not seen any of it's sequels. And the lead female character's name was "Sidney"(Prescott), played by Canadian born actress(and hottie tongue-1 ) Neve Campbell.

The theatrical trailer for Scream, directed by Wes Craven:
