Recall that the 1984 Godzilla was 80 meters tall and looked different, facially, than the 100 meter tall follow up Godzillas in the remaining Heisei G films. Hmm. Not sure. I'm just thinking more along the lines of the overall character of Godzilla during the Heisei era. He's a lot like the original Godzilla in appearance, in that he's much darker and grittier-looking. But he's also a lot more sympathetic. He's sort of a misunderstood monster, and also sort of an anti-hero.
