It wasn't too long ago that I happened to catch an episode of House, a television series that debuted on Fox back in 2004. The series chronicles Dr. Gregory House(played by actor Hugh Laurie), a doctor in charge of diagnostic medicine at a teaching hospital in New Jersey whose brilliance is matched only by his ascerbic, abrasive and sarcastic personality and mannerisms. Additional cast includes House's boss, Dr. Lisa Cuddy(played by Lisa Edelstein), House's friend and oncologist Dr. James Wilson(played by Robert Sean Leonard), and the team of doctors assigned to Dr. House who help him diagnose the difficult medical cases that he and his group try to solve. Other regular cast members include Dr. Robert Chase(played by Jesse Spencer), Dr. Eric Foreman(played by Omar Epps), Dr. Remy Hadley(played by Olivia Wilde) and Dr. Allison Cameron(played by Jennifer Morrison). I've been watching episodes every week(in syndication) on the USA cable channel. I'm not usually enamored with weekly television shows but this one is, IMO, quite good.
