Recently bought this book and I'm not very far, but I'm really liking it. It's a post apocalyptic story about a man and his son. The interesting thing about it is the writing style. Cormac McCarthy took a stylized approach, heavy with improper grammar and lack of quotations. There's run on sentences and fragments galore which really makes the book feel like it was written down like a journal. So far the story is very grim and realistic. I'm looking forward to finishing it. |
