Recognized Rex Reason from This Island Earth. He's a cool actor. EDIT: Didn't realize it until I looked him up on imdb, but Jeff Morrow was also in This Island Earth. He played Exeter. I thought this one was a lot more ambitious than either the first movie or the first sequel. But I don't think it ever quite achieved what it set out to do.
