He'll be smart to come back for his senior season as that team will be virtually intact for the 2009 season and would improve his draft status in 2010 Tim Tebow is an absolutely marvelous college football player, Russ. I have listened to ESPN's cadre of football "experts", including Mel Kiper, Jr. who have opined that Tebow's collegiate success on the field may not translate to success as an NFL quarterback. Many of their arguments about Tebow are based on this QB's mechanics, both regarding his feet, time of release and throwing motion. Tebow should absolutely work on his mechanics, no doubt about that. Tebow, Oklahoma's Sam Bradford and Texas QB Colt McCoy are all returning for their senior seasons, so the Heisman "watch" should prove very interesting in 2009.
