I loved the Riddick movies. Vin Diesel deserves some credit for that role. Maybe only that role, but he was amazing in it. David Twohy also deserves some credit. Pitch Black is probably the best one, but I also really liked the director's cut of Chronicles of Riddick, which I actually saw first. Then I discovered Escape From Butcher Bay. A game so awesome, it's almost like another Riddick movie. Vin Diesel and Cole Hauser both return to play their characters in the game. I loved that game. One of the greatest I have ever played. Now they're releasing a next-gen sequel that also includes a completely revamped version of the original game and multiplayer. Although I probably won't play the mp that much. I'm a single-player guy. Anyways, I'm incredibly psyched for this game. I've been watching a ton of videos for it on gametrailers. And it looks like it's going to be exactly what I'd hoped for. Everything looks amazing. And better yet, not only do Vin Diesel and Cole Hauser both return to play their characters, but we've got Lance freaking Henriksen also playing a character! I worship this guy. And apparently it was more than just recording his voice. They got him all dressed up in a motion-capture suit with sensors even on his face and he actually pretty much played the character. They've also got William Morgan Sheppard. He's this awesome actor I've known from the roles he's played in Star Trek. He actually even plays a role in the new Star Trek movie according to IMDB. I actually just discovered this. That's extremely awesome. And now I just noticed yet another actor I know. Michelle Forbes. She played Ensign Ro in Star Trek TNG and another character in Battlestar Galactica. Most games have absolutely awful voice-acting and terrible stories. This turns me off so many games. But there are some exceptions. Doom 3 was one. The Riddick games are another. They always get great Hollywood actors to play the roles. I'm really impressed with what I see so far. It may not be a Riddick movie, but it's really damn close to it. Wanna know how psyched I am for this game? I may actually pre-order it. I almost never buy games anymore, much less play them. So the fact that I'm considering pre-ordering means I am truly psyched.
