As an african american, i'm very proud to see Obama as our new President. It's something that I thought I would not see in my lifetime. Why was Obama elected? 1) He's much better than the person who just left. 2) Most of this country did not want crusty old McCain in the Oval Office. 3) This country was just ready for a change. And it just shows just how far this country has come. Look, Obama is not gonna do this overnight. It's gonna take awhile to fix this mess that Bush has put this country in. Most everyone I talk to wishes him luck and hopes that he does a good job. And i'm one of them. As I tell my employees at work, "Do you smell what Barack is cookin?"
