![]() I wouldn't say "non-existent". I would say our budget for our first go round at an event like the ones August regularly does would be "modest". ![]() Evan, when endeavoring to do something, anything there has to be a starting point. You used your example of trying to organize a viewing of Godzilla 2000 and this project of yours never got off the ground. That does not mean you can't pull it off and have some modest success with it. It does mean you'll have to go back and figure out exactly what you did wrong...and then come up with a plan that will work. Let's be realistic: you're 15 years old and still not in the work force, earning a wage, which would enable you to put aside some money. That alone would present a tremendous challenge for you. You also live in a smaller town. If I were you I'd work a "grass roots" campaign of generating interest in Godzilla movies, host some viewings at your house, then go from there and build on that. Write your own Godzilla "column" for your high school newspaper...or start up a journal, write your own reviews for Godzilla movies and get them printed, then hand them out. These are merely some things that might work. You can't simply pay for a film, rent out a theater to play the movie and simply expect that people are going to show up. |
