I've heard the story. It's very interesting, but there's still a lot of controversy as to whether it was a hoax or not. Pretty much all we have to go on is the book by Jay Anson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amityville_Horror
According to wikipedia:
I don't know about that one. Do you mean the Shroud of Turin? Because the results I've seen showed that the cloth was made much too recently for it to have been Christ's burial cloth. And even if it was roughly 2000 years old, how can we know which man it was used with?
I know nothing about that. I guess the bottom line is, hauntings and possessions would be pretty crazy stuff. But it's not exactly miraculous, if you know what I mean. It sounds like something demonic, or otherworldly. But what I know of Amityville and possessions doesn't sound like the work of God. It sounds like evidence of something dark and evil that doesn't really exist in our world, for the most part, in the physical sense. This could mean anything. Beings from another dimension. Spirits, aliens, demons, or some kind of natural phenomenon we don't yet understand. Edited by crowmagnumman, Mar 24 2009, 11:11 PM.
