To be blunt: I agree with you. Another 700,000 Americans who currently draw unemployment benefits will find their benefits running out before the end of the year, their prospects of finding work grim at best: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090405/ap_on_bi_ge/unemployment_losing_benefits While thousands of Americans lose their jobs and millions more can't find work, all of Barack Obama's top economic advisers make hundreds of thousands of dollars in salary from speaking engagements and their professional association(s) with the U.S. president. Think these people, as compensated as well as they are, are feeling any pressure to do anything for unemployed working class Americans? I sure as hell don't. |
