I have watched the Simpsons on and off for years. I believe I was about 10 years old when the series premiered and I still remember every kid in my class wearing Bart Simpson t-shirts. The school even wanted to ban the shirts from campus. Over the years I think the show has transitioned a bit, and while most of the early episodes revolved mostly around Bart, I think in later seasons alot more of the focus is on Homer now. I was given a box set of one of the seasons of the Simpsons upon my exit from the United States to the war in Iraq. I can say that it was a great diversion to watch those episodes overseas while dealing with the war. |
