New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is calling it quits after a fifteen year career: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9639130/Patriots-safety-Harrison-announces-retirement Harrison's timing is good. He's won two Super Bowl rings and played in the league a long time, including a stint with the San Diego Chargers and then New England Patriots. There will be some debate, I would imagine, about whether Harrison gets into the NFL Hall Of Fame. I think he deserves to get in. ![]() One thing is absolutely certain, now that this stellar NFL safety is hanging up his cleats for good: NFL QBs and WR's will be suffering a lot less Excedrin PM headaches and spending less time on Mondays soaking in hot tubs because they're no longer being blasted by this guy. |
