New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is calling it quits after a fifteen year career: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9639130/Patriots-safety-Harrison-announces-retirementHarrison's timing is good. He's won two Super Bowl rings and played in the league a long time, including a stint with the San Diego Chargers and then New England Patriots. There will be some debate, I would imagine, about whether Harrison gets into the NFL Hall Of Fame. I think he deserves to get in. One thing is absolutely certain, now that this stellar NFL safety is hanging up his cleats for good: NFL QBs and WR's will be suffering a lot less Excedrin PM headaches and spending less time on Mondays soaking in hot tubs because they're no longer being blasted by this guy. Once considered the dirtiest player in the NFL but always a stellar player. Wish him well in post football life.
