Actually you're wrong you can't surf the web on a PS1 or Xbox 360, the internet was in it's infancy still when the PS1 launched and the Xbox 360 MS didn't include a browser because well they view that people have a Computer for that sort of thing. Plus surfing the web over a TV is rather pointless IMHO. As for tech news, Intel should be releasing a new processor type called the I9 which is sort of like their I7 processor type only the I9s give you 8 cores (meaning you essentially have 8 different cpus on one chip). I7 processors I believe have six cores. I'm content with my Core 2 Duo E8400 processor that runs at 3.0Ghz. I will be this fall upgrading other components of my computer, going to be adding in a new video card (Nvidia GTX285 or 275 haven't decided) putting in double the RAM I have now for a grand total of 8GBs (sadly my PC will be maxed out on RAM) a new sound card (X-Fi Fata1tly Pro PCI-E) and another HDD (a 1.5 Terabyte drive) bringing my total to 2TB of space.
