Universal making this move to accommodate some more special effects changes and additions. What kind of changes? Those regarding Del Toro as the monster. Up to now the officially released photos of Del Toro in full monster makeup suggested a creature like the one in the original 1941 film of the same name, a two legged, humanoid "wolf man". If you believe the posted link below the studio is opting to go with effects changes that make Del Toro's character "Lawrence Talbot" a quadrupedal, or four legged monster.
