Thanks for posting those pics. thumbz up

I forgot all about Marianna Hill: she was a hottie! tongue-1

Ted Cassidy...now that was one scary looking dude. freak out

My favorite hotties from the original ST series would have to be Barbara Luna, Sherry Jackson, Marianna Hill and also Yvonne Craig, the latter the green skinned gal from the episode "For Whom Gods Destroy". Nichelle Nichols looked damn good in her own right, especially in that outfit in the season two episode "Mirror, Mirror".

I also liked the young lady who played the Vulcan female Spock was supposed to mate with in season two's "Amok Time".

My current top ten favorite ST episodes from the original series:

  • The Ultimate Computer
    The Gamesters Of Triskelion
    Devil In The Dark
    Amok Time
    Mirror, Mirror
    The Galileo Seven
    Arena
    Shore Leave
    Journey To Babel
    Operation: Annihilate!

Here's a post from a ST message board with an image of "Marta"(Yvonne Craig) from the season three episode called "For Whom Gods Destroy": http://www.startrekmovie.com/forums/showpost.php?p=103257&postcount=57

Here's a blogger who has posted images of all the famous original ST series women: http://eeknight.livejournal.com/341538.html

I did see a pic of a young Sally Kellerman in this blog: she looked great! tongue-2

One of the reasons why I believe the original ST series remains the best among all of these shows is the portrayal of these characters, and the writing. The original series managed to make me care about these characters a lot, as well as marvel at their ability to overcome repeated problems and situations, usually relying on each other. These characters all "had each others back", so to speak. The relationship between the "big three", Kirk Spock and McCoy, has IMO never been duplicated in any other ST television series, especially that of Spock and Dr. Leonard McCoy. Here's a clip from the episode "Bread And Circuses", a clip that illustrates the relationship between these two men:
