Criticaly grading something is a form of opinion, or atleast that is what I have been told. And in criticaly grading suits, this one takes the cake for what the filmakers embarked on. It seems to me that you think of something graded "criticaly" means factual...
My disdain for the use of the word "critically" is founded in my belief that a person offering their opinion about something would be better off simply stating it is their opinion and describing them as exactly that. I have always associated the word "critically" within the context that it is a mostly objective standard, or objective benchmark of some kind, against which an idea or opinion is expressed: this "objective standard" could be something like what I mentioned earlier: an official book of some kind.

I judge anything, a film, a painting. a song, anything by my own preferences and own impressions and everyone's impressions are different. To me the word "critically" implies a judgment of something using an objective source for a parameter. By stating our opinions about how we think a kaiju suit looks we ARE NOT basing those judgments on ANYTHING objective, but rather our own impressions and preferences, both of which are entirely SUBJECTIVE. winky
