I also dislike the dub on the Sony R1 DVD of the '93 Godzilla film. I have this movie on Region 3 HK DVD though I haven't watched it in a long time. The closing score, in which Godzilla and "Junior" wade out to sea and begin their transit back to Birth Island, is a truly melodic and memorable score. The music is fitting, I think, considering the events in this film that culminate with Godzilla and the infant G finally being brought together. I have also always liked the way Godzilla looked down at the small monster as Junior emerged from the container: Godzilla's look was one of sympathy for Junior and a desire to protect and mentor the small monster. It's a look that has obviously rarely(if ever) been seen on Godzilla's face throughout the monster's film history. ![]() Here's a review of this film by a young fellow on YouTube: ![]() Evan, it would appear you have some competition on YouTube regarding these kaiju films.
