Well then I must be that rare outlier, eh? What's an "outtlier"? G2KMaster I am prety sure Honda also said something to this extent. The monsters are featured in the film, but it is the humans who move the plot along Moving a plot along and being the predominant feature of a movie are two different things. The human cast of a kaiju film can "move" a film's plot along without taking the place of the monsters as the predominant attractions in a kaiju film. The human cast and the monsters should compliment each other in these movies...one not being overly emphasized over the other. G2KMaster Hell, might as well give Frye some praise. His character was nice Frye's character was cool and he had a few funny one liners. That does not mean that Don Frye is a good actor...which he is not. He's a K-1 fighter and has been a great one for a long time. G2KMaster If there was more kaiju footage, would it suit you or would you still need to deem it neccesary to cut out the martial arts/motorcycle chase scenes? More kaiju sequences would have been a major plus for me in this film. The "motorcycle chase" scene was okay. I didn't have any problem with that. G2KMaster The film is not as bad as many people make it out to be The disastrous box office showing of this movie IMO suggests otherwise.
