Zilla, and the 1998 film, may be regularly ridiculed, even blasted by casual and hardcore Godzilla fans, but I'm certain Toho still has an appreciation for this character, considering the $ it made them

Yeah definitely, you might have noticed that when TOHO were promoting "Godzilla: Final Wars" they kept using the fight scene between Godzilla and Zilla, I think that's the reason why most people went to see it, shame they didn't know the fight would consist of:
2 Atomic breaths
1 Jump
1 Tailwhip

It's probably my favourite scene of the film, but also one of the ones I hate the most simply because TOHO supposedly don't like the American Godzilla and yet they kept using it to promote the film, and when you actually saw the film the fight lasted 30 seconds!!!!! very angry

As for me I loved the American Godzilla film, it was either the 3rd or 4th Godzilla film I ever saw, and the only one I ever managed to see at the Cinema.
'The void is that which stands right in the middle between this and that. The void is all-inclusive, having no opposite — there is nothing which it excludes or opposes. It is living void, because all forms come out of it and whoever realizes the void is filled with life and power and the love of all things' - Bruce Lee
