On December 11. 1993 the Toho Motion Picture Company released Gojira Vs Mekagojira, Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla. The story: Mecha-King Ghidorah is excavated from the ocean floor by authorities with the UN Godzilla Countermeasures Center, it's advanced technology copied in the construction of a new weapon to fight Godzilla: Mechagodzilla. Meanwhile, a prehistoric egg is discovered on Adonoa Island. The egg eventually hatches, revealing a Godzillasaurus "baby". "Baby" is ultimately used by the military to lure Godzilla into a fight with MechaG on a remote island, but Rodan(believing "baby" to be it's infant) intervenes. Ultimately Godzilla and Mechagodzilla face off in Chiba City...(no spoilers). Observations: IMO the best of the Heisei Godzilla films-everything is here-good special effects, the monsters(G, MechaG, and Rodan, all battling each other collectively or each other one on one), and(for a change  ) some interesting characters. I also liked the score, and the film's ending. This film is available on DVD Region 2 at Yesasia.com. It has been released on Region 1 DVD(Tri-Star).
