Even though it doesn't hold up as well as Godzilla 1985 or Godzilla vs Biollante, this is my favorite of the Heisei series. Actually, it's one of my favorite Godzilla movies period. I love the action scenes, the new Mechagodzilla, baby Godzilla, Ifukube's score, and the characters are quite interesting as well. Plus, the American actor who plays Doctor Asimov is worth a laugh or two. Good stuff. |
