Pteranogon: Death from Above Preview: In March, 1964 and nearly two months after leaving the U.S. Navy James M. Powers is compelled to return to duty after a government funded scientific exploration team, dispatched to the mountainous northern Canadian wilderness, fails to check in while investigating a huge asteroid that crashed in the remote and rugged region. Jim Powers and his own team reach the area and discover an enormous winged reptilian creature resembling a pteranodon, much larger than the reptilian monsters he encountered before during the Gulf Of Alaska-Seattle Crisis. Complicating matters for Powers: a reckless Soviet counterpart and his team of Russian soldiers and scientists, who have made an unauthorized transit into the area to investigate the colossal winged creature as well. The winged behemoth has remained benign, until a group of Russian soldiers inadvertently damage its egg... |
