In the first, two posters were talking about America and the government, and one of them ended up calling the other "a **ing idiot". In the second, the "idiot" told the other poster to "shut up". While what you describe is obviously bad, it pales in comparison to some things I've seen posted on the internet between individuals with differing opinions about things. After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, and in the ensuing months, there was an atmosphere of rabid bigotry and hatred between black and white individuals at a Yahoo discussion group in topics about the violence in New Orleans and the Super Dome following the catastrophic devastation of the hurricane. The racial epithets thrown around by those participating in the discussion reminded me of dialogue I once read in a Civil War book(a work of fiction). Topic: do you think, Thilian, that "Dubya" will judged, historically, as one of this country's worst Presidents?
