DeNiro did an outstanding job in the role of, Vito Corrleone, if I'm not mistaken, he even learned Italian, so he could speak it during the film. Brando was wonderful and I've also ready studio execs weren't so willing to have him in the role of the 'Don', but finally gave in. They did attempt to get Brando to make an appearance in the sequel, but that didn't happen. Last night, while channel surfning, I see AMC was airing part three and I attempted a couple of times while going past, to sit and watch it, but it just doesn't work for me.
