1. Well, thank goodness for that part did have some other footage as shown on the Deleted Scenes reel on the TOHO SFX Tape

It just came to my attention, That some wouldn't like Godzilla's wobly lip. But it gives him some more character. Some animals,for example a dog, look like they have a wobly lip. So it gives Godzilla aninmalistic Character. Kida making him more then a rubber suit.
