I liked the scores from Godzilla vs Mothra (1992), but IMO its the worst film out of Heisei era.

I personally thought Godzilla vs Mothra was a nice return to form for the Heisei era after how horrible this entry was....I mean sure Mothra looked like a plush toy and the Indiana Jonesish start was was kinda goofy but at least I found this one enjoyable rather then this one which made me wanna bite down on a shotgun and splatter my brains against the wall......okay that's a mild exaggeration but I really hated this film.....and the score did sound kinda off

If you want my reasons to why I thought Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) is the worst Heisei film, go to the topic for the film and look around. ;)

I also liked the score from Godzilla vs King Ghidorah (1991) alot, I personally thought Ifukube did a good job. :)

Slain, I've taken the liberty of finding Matthew's reason for not liking Godzilla Vs Mothra(1992):

Quote:

Godzilla's look was good, but his atomic ray sound, it pretty silly.

Mothra looks good, but she does look a bit fake.

Battra was very good, even better then Mothra, the design was great.

The Special Effects are fine, but the strings can been seen if you look carefully.

Another thing is that little girl and the Cosmos are a bit annoying

Well I'll have to agree with some of those points....that litter girl was annoying and as I said eariler mothra looks like a plush toy and yeah you could see the strings....but that doesn't bother me too much as you can see the strings worse in Evil Dead 2...and I loved that movie

It's just I did quite enjoy the film and thought it's flaws were mild where as thinking about Godzilla vs King Ghidorah gives me a headache

I like Evil Dead II as well, the strings can be seen, then again it was made in the 80's, so I forgive it.

I personally found the special effects in Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) to be weaker then Godzilla vs King Ghidorah's.

Also I think that Mothra's singing pair has no place in a movie that has Godzilla in it.

very funny

Well, Mothra played a fairly prominent role in Godzilla Vs Mothra(1992). To me the presence of the fairies, in a movie where Mothra is featured like this, is a foregone conclusion.

I think Mothra is better without them, she was great in GMK. Mr. Green

The shobijin fairies seemed necessary to Godzilla vs. Mothra's story but they really could have done without them in the SpaceGodzilla film. In my opinion that made an already lacking film a bit worse.

It was just random as hell. I mean, We know Mothra is in Space and that a Space Monster is coming. But oh well.

I've been catching up on all the Godzilla movies I've missed, so this is one I just recently saw for the first time. Not bad really. There are plenty of problems, and some of it is pretty silly, but this is definitely one of the better Godzilla movies. It's a fun movie.

Finally got to watch this last night along with rebirth of mothra.
I thought it was an awesome film, the godzilla and king ghidorah suits looks good and the score was amazing, only problem i have is the time travel plot and those stupid suits the aliens wear, the effects look a little dated now but overall i give ****/***** and a personal thumbs up hehe.
Listen kid, there are two things you didn't know about the Earth. One is me. And the other is... Godzilla

This film, while I just pretend to understand the complex time travel theories in this film, it is very good when it comes to show Japan's economy vs. the world's in the years to come and the touching and emotional relationship between Godzilla and Shindo. But Mechaghidorah, that was not that original.

bravo clap

Very cool clip and a great reminder of how much time and effort goes into the special effects of these kaiju films. That King Ghidorah prop looked huge! shokked
