i love godzilla jr in film

'Junior" definitely stepped up and showed what he was made of in this film, fighting Destoroyah hard and learning how to use his oral beam to great effectiveness. Seeing "Junior" die in this movie was upsetting, to be honest.

This film is great, a nice way to end an era.

Destroyah is great, mostly the final form, the others seems to remind me of Ridley Scott's Alien for a reason, but Destroyah is evil looking and reminds me of the devil.

Godzilla himself looks nice, the glowing effects look well done and the glowing eyes add extra detail and the smoke makes it seem like Godzilla is really hot.

Godzilla Junior is nice as well, the design is cool and makes it seem he is a teenage Godzilla.

The Special effects are good, not as good as Godzilla vs Biollante, but still good enough.

Toho did a great job in the rendering of this monster, especially the 120 meter tall final form. thumbs up

I watched this film, recently and I still enjoy it a lot, but the films is tainted with a lot more sadness than is the norm for most Godzilla films. ''One issue I have or think I might have with the disc of this film.....it seems very dark at times. I can never tell if the film was filmed a bit darker to benefit the glowing/burning of Godzilla or if the DVD quality is low. eh?

I might as well say this but the death of Godzilla was very upsetting and the best death scene of a famous character IMO.

I would think this was the effect Toho envisioned viewers of Godzilla Vs Destoroyah(1995) having when first watching it. I know there was one scene that really saddened me(without revealing any spoilers tongue-1). In fact I was also pissed off about it as well.

While I believe Godzilla Jr's death in Godzilla Vs Destoroyah(1995) is very sad and had an impact on me, the best "death scene" for me in a movie is still Spock's death in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan(1982). The scene where he dies, after sacrificing himself to save the Enterprise, was for me very moving. I also was very sad when Captain James Kirk died in Star Trek-Generations(1994) though it did bring me a little bit of solace in knowing that he died with Captain Picard at his side.

I think Destroyah possible takes the place as Godzilla's strongest foe in the Heisei Era.

While you may indeed be right I'm still inclined to think Spacegodzilla was Godzilla's most powerful Heisei foe. It's a close call between these two monsters, that's for sure. noddy

SpaceGodzilla I admit is very powerful, But Destroyah took on a Meltdown Godzilla, IMO the second strongest form of Godzilla.

The reason I believe Space Godzilla is more powerful: Destoroyah's destruction was partly due to the defense forces attack on him and the resultant energy release from Godzilla's meltdown. Spacegodzilla was defeated solely by Godzilla himself. I also think SG's gravity tornado might give him an edge in battle with Destoroyah.

I still think Destroyah would win.

I still think Destroyah would win.

Why? Because of Destoroyah's weapons? heyo

Its hard to explain, it is just what I believe, like how you believe SpaceGodzilla would win.
