This was the first godzilla film i watched all the way through, i started watching it not realising it was a godzilla film because the title threw me (Ebirah, horror of the deep) i watched it on sky tv here in the uk and the tv mag synopsis didnt mention the g man at all, so what a surprise to see the big man half way through sleeping in a moutain, was only then i realised i was watching a godzilla marathon on sky cinema, that day i watched ebirah horror of the deep, terror of mechagodzilla, destroy all monster, godzilla vs hedorah, godzilla vs gigan, godzilla's revenge, godzilla vs megalon, godzilla vs mechagodzilla, son of godzilla and godzilla vs mothra. That was back in 96, thus where my love for godzilla films came from the day when i decided to watch an unkown to me giant monster movie. Im pretty glad i did.

That's one hell of a Godzilla movie marathon. I wish an American cable channel would broadcast something like this once and a while.

I like it too, but it would be #11 on my list. The film is a classic. And I like the whole tropical setting of the film. Not to mention the fast paced action...

Don't mind if I do: I've always wondered what Godzilla was thinking when he looked down at Kumi Mizuno's character.

I also liked how Godzilla dealt with the giant buzzard that interrupted his nap. sickko

Fear the Giant Condor man, that had to be the most unexpected and entertaining battle I have seen in any Godzilla film...FEAR IT!

I love the tropical setting. The set builders on this film and Son of Godzilla did a job Above-and-beyond. i also loved Masaru Sato's score. gave a "Personal" and South seas feel to the film.

If you watch the Japanese Theatrical Trailer, you will notice some strange American music being played in it.

Although too bad we did not get Kong for this film though. Who knows, this film could have made a good prequel to KKE...
