I think it's pretty obvious I wasn't fond of this period in Godzilla films which I know a large many will disagree

Do you like the Heisei Godzilla films, overall, better than the Millennium G films?

I'm quite fond of both the Showa and Heisei films bar a few exceptions....there are some okay ones form the Millennium era but none of them appealed to me as much as Showa and Heisei...I kinda found myself liking the mid Millennium films better as I really wasn't fond of 2000, Megaguirus and Final Wars I rank as the weakest Godzilla film to date. Truth be said this entry wasn't bad per-say....I just feel like other films from this time to be lacking something I can't fully put my finger on....the amount of CGI didn't help.

And what's with Godzilla just standing there, lifeless, as the tanks and Rockets are blasting the crap out of him.

Like all Millennium era films this was very flawed and that to be honest bugged me aswell

I enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would. 8/10. It's not as good as GMK, but I enjoyed it a lot. So far I'd say it's second-best to GMK in the Millennium era.

This film was a verry good entry. I thought that all three series were perfect they way they are. The thing about this entry that I like is the combining of all non-goji toho kaiju films along with one goji film, Gojira. Not to mention a very good perspective on the economy when Japan decides to make a Mechagodzilla on such short notice.

Yeah, I really liked how they tied it in with Mothra and War of the Gargantuas, and probably more that they don't mention like Rodan.

Actualy, the GMK siut was to be used in this film. But it wasn't due to the Kiryu siut was too small, meaning that Godzilla would dwarf Mechagodzilla...

Wrong. The tallest siut was actualy the Musuko-Goji. Keith Aiken said so.

I still haven't seen Tokyo SOS, but I remember really liking this one on first viewing. I thought it was my second favorite of the Millennium series. It really surprised me. No idea if I'd like it as much on a second viewing.

Son of Godzilla siut...

It is the tallest since it's neck is tall, head is tal and wide, and it is just, big. Like Jason V. He isn't fat. But he isn't muscular. He is just big...
