Actualy, the GMK siut was to be used in this film. But it wasn't due to the Kiryu siut was too small, meaning that Godzilla would dwarf Mechagodzilla...
well i heard the GMK suit was 7 feet tall, the largest ever.
Wrong. The tallest siut was actualy the Musuko-Goji. Keith Aiken said so.
your gonna have to explain this Musuko suit.
Son of Godzilla siut...

It is the tallest since it's neck is tall, head is tal and wide, and it is just, big. Like Jason V. He isn't fat. But he isn't muscular. He is just big...
he was the last suit i would have guessed.

Well, the camera lies...

This can be explained by A.) Minya was bigger than purposed and so a bigget siut was needed or B.) The bigger siut calls for bigger models, which is what is needed for such a tropical setting that SoG requires.

Admin edit: would the next poster in this thread please reply without including the entire previously quoted posts...I'm getting vertigo trying to read the last half dozen posts in this topic thread. deadzone

That hamster was cute and a nice tribute to Hamtaro and I can kinda see the dragging part though...

It's just, hmmmm. The bigining was so bad ass. The middle just draggs so bad, it's painful. But it could be worse than a hamster, I guess.

If only the maser cannon actualy hit Godzilla's eye ball, I would love to see how Toho would handle a scene like that...

No Joke. If they will let Godzilla Get Roto Rootered by MechaGodzila, I wonder what damage the Maser tank would do?

If Toho were striving for realism then this sequence would result in Godzilla's eye exploding like a melon, blood and bits of his eyeball splattering in all directions. There would be a gaping, bloody hole in Godzilla's head where his eye had been...

...and then Godzilla would begin a walkabout, looking for any giant sized Ray ban sunglasses laying around. tongue-2

Didn't Godzilla get one eye messed up By Hedorah in Godzilla vs Hedorah? Or did I just imagine it?

If I remember correctly Hedorah hurled sludge at Godzilla's face, the sludge covering one of Godzilla's eyes. I can remember sequences in this film where one of Godzilla's eyes was covered with the sludge. Of course I couldn't speculate as to what damage may been caused to Godzilla's eye. Perhaps there's some mention of this in some Toho official publication about Godzilla and Godzilla films.

The eye was burned, but not bad enough to not be healed. What I described was something Godzilla cannot grow back...
