My favorite of all the Ultramen. He has the coolest weapons and no color timer. I also like that he's not really a man but an alien disguised as a man. Plus, the name he goes by is Dan...just like me!

I just ordered and received this series on DVD about a week and a half ago. I am most impressed by Ultraseven's weapons, especially the slicing weapon he throws from his head and the beam from his forehead-I also like his suit. I also like the female member of the Ultra-Garrison, played by Yuriko Hishimi. She's lovely. tongue-1

You're lucky to have the whole series. I've only seen the first three episodes (which I loved) and I've heard the show only gets better as it goes on.

Lucky? I am certainly fortunate about having the series. I can usually buy two series a year(anymore and I'd have to talk to the loan officer at my bank tongue-1 )-last year I bought Ultraman(1966-original series) and Ultraman Cosmos(2001-02). The year before(2004) it was Ultraman Tiga(all the volumes). This last Christmas I was fortunate enough to get a friend to buy me Ultraman Powered(1995-all 13 episodes). --Now that I reached my allotment for two(2) series already this year(Ultraman Jack and Ultraseven) I'm going to hold off for awhile-I'll probably buy UltraQ in June or July. I'm trying to get all the older series before I start pulling the trigger on everything after Cosmos... crazy

I'm glad you're able to watch some of the episodes without having to wait until your birthday. Corey, this series is widely considered to be the most "serious" of the Ultra series. I tend to agree. bravo clap

That weapon is the "eye-slugger"! Cool blade weapon. I also dig his "emerium beam" which fires from his forehead and I really like Seven's version of the "specium beam" he calls the "wide shot". Let's not forget the cool capsule monsters too! Ultra Seven can summon monsters to come to his aid. How cool is that?

Two of my favorite mosnters are capsule monsters: Agira and Windum. The capsule monsters are Windum, Agira, and Miclas. Ultraseven uses them when he is unable to fight or transform. Any Ultraseven questions and i'm the one to answer them.

Here's one Corey: I have seen a post at the Ultraman Lah site by a member stating that he has proof that Ultraseven was Ultraman Taro's father. Do you agree? eyebrow

That's weird. How does an Ultra mate? I thought they were pure energy. The world of Ultraman is an odd one, isn't it? LOL

Indeed it is Dan, and that's before we talk about all the different monsters and aliens that are part of the mix. shocked smiley
