Not a fan of GMK, Trent? eyebrow Just curious. I like both, but you can easily see wires in many of Megaguirus' flying scenes, which has been a major knock on the special effects of Godzilla Vs Megaguirus(2000). These two films, along with Destroy All Monsters(1968), Godzilla vs Hedorah(1971), and more recently, the "Rebirth Of Mothra" films(1996-1998), air from time to time on the Sci-Fi Channel, in their original theatrical aspect ratio(widescreen). I have seen it posted on the internet, Trent, that the six "Godzilla" films currently owned by Classic Media, may also end up on television, because Classic Media may try to promote them for television appearances as well. thumbs up

I miss the good old days (before VCR) when our local TV stations would air Godzilla movies on on certain Saturdays or Sundays. It was always a special weekend whenever a Godzilla movie would air.

I'm not a fan of either one really but if I was going to watch one of the two it would GxM, to me that one is more "fun" than GMK despite it being shoddy film work. GMK loses me almost right from the start and then it's all over for me after the Godzilla beaten on Baragon. I have tried many times to see what others see in GMK but I still only see an ugly G-suit in an overall bland movie :(

I do agree with you Trent regarding the suit. From the front the G suit used in GMK looks good, but from the side Godzilla appears to have an enlarged stomach, perhaps from drinking too much Asahi beer. shifty eyes

There was one thing I also liked about GMK, not mentioned previously: Chiharu Niiyama, who played "Yuri Tachibana" in this film. Needless to say she didn't look too bland to me. tongue-1

To tell the truth, Dan, as a kid growing up it was always a special weekend for me when I didn't have to do yard work.

My dad never asked me to do yard work.  He actually enjoyed mowing the lawn and raking leaves.  He probably still doe enjoy it. Go figure.

My own father hated yardwork of any kind-my mother, on the other hand, enjoyed working outside, and was quite the gardener. She had a vegetable garden in our backyard, and declared war on any small animals that tried to consume any vegetables she grew in it. She fussed over that garden quite a bit, often shooting BB's at squirrels who raided her tomato plants. When her BB gun wouldn't drive off these critters she upgraded to a .38 revolver(she had confiscated from my older brother many years before). My father, unhappy that she had the gun, took it away from her after a few weekends of her blasting away at squirrels in her vegetable garden with the revolver. I'm actually glad to hear that your father enjoys the tasks you mentioned because it's good exercise for him. The owner of the company I work for is 85 years old and also mows his grass, edges and blows his own property. According to his doctor, as he related to me one day, it helps keep him going, both mentally and physically. thumbs up

I need to get more active myself. My dad does many more activities than I do. Frankly, I can't wait for the warmer months so I can start jogging and hitting up the batting cages. beating the admin

As posted earlier Godzilla, Mothra And King Ghidorah: All Out Monsters Attack(2001) is still scheduled, at The Sci-Fi Channel's website, to air on Saturday, 4-28 @ 3:00 AM(EST).

Note: Godzilla Vs Megaguirus(2000) was previously listed as scheduled to air on Friday. 4-27 @ 3:00 AM, but is no longer listed on Sc-Fi's monthly TV programming schedule, it's time slot now listing a movie called "Demon Slayer". Just FYI.
