I used to love DAM as a kid, as I've grown older, it has moved down in the ranks. I do still highly regard it, but there are many things I would have liked to see done differently. However, I think they did well for the declining budgets they had to work with. I too would have liked to see more participation from Baragon, Varan, Rodan, and the others.

This is one of my favorite musical scores by Maestro Ifukube. When I worked at a convenience store it used to be one the scores I hum while I mopped the floors.

What I would like to see now is a quality Region 1 DVD release of DAM. Perhaps Mediablasters or Discotek Media could secure the North American DVD rights and release DAM with some extras. The ADV Films releases of DAM are bare bones.

I agree with you. Though I think that unless they are meaningly wanting to look bad, I think the company that next releases DAM has to have a good set of special features. After what Sony and Classic Media have done, I think that it has become standard.
