Monsters: Crazygon, King Joe, Windum, and Iron Rocks

Rules: No Rules, all monsters keep their powers and coolness!

Area: A heavily populated highway somewhere in Japan.

Prediction: After putting up a good fight, I think Windum would be the first to go, even though his spirit is high. Iron Rocks chains and almost unlimited supply of weapons would prove to be a real problem for King Joe and Crazygon, but I think the two would wind up defeating him. When it comes down to King Joe and Crazygon, King Joe being one of Ultraseven's most stubborn foes and Crazygon being one of his toughest (he had to shrin kdown to the size of a bullet and be shot into him) I think Crazygon would turn the tables and defeat King joe.

Reasons: Recently after viewing the Ultraseven DVD as an Ultraearly (get it, Ultra!) birthday present, I was able to make the chose on how well they kept their footing with Ultraseven.

This is a tough battle to call. I agree that Windum would be jacked up and out of the battle first. When the dust settles, I gotta believe King Joe would be the one still standing. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this battle, that's for sure.

Yes, King Joe is a tough opponent, although he was more stubborn than a real fighter. As he marched through, destroying everything, Ultraseven just bounced off him, not taking any serious damage. Crazygon was a ruthless fighter, eh used his giant arm to swing back and fourth, knocking Ultraseven around. I believe he was the stronger monster.

They're both tough, and would fight well together, perhaps better as a team, as opposed to fighting each other...

Oh, I get it now. It wouldn't be fair to have team Windam and Iron Rocks vs team Crazygon and King Joe, the first tema wouldn't stand a chance against the unstoppable duo!

In my opinion Windum and Iron Rocks are both eager fighters Corey, especially "Iron Rocks", but both seem to get jacked up a lot by the monsters that Dan Moroboshe has to ultimately fight as Ultraseven. In fact, Ultraseven had to fight Windum(somewhat) in one Ultraseven episode, Mother Knows Best, after the aliens manipulated Windum into attacking Ultraseven. crazy

Iron Rocks was powerful, I agree with that, but Windum, even under the control of aliens was a wimp. It was pretty funny to watch him chas e Ultraseven in a cirlce until he got dizzy.

It was kind of amusing. I liked how Ultraseven never tried to hurt(or use lethal force) on Windum, he just tried to wear the capsule monster down, and then keep him down on the ground. thumbs up

I would've liked to see windum fight some more though, mabye attacking the aliens in the otwer only to be attacked with rockets and otehr weapons. I also didn't get the part that as soon as he was turned back to his regular self, Ultraseven sent Windum right back to the tower, only to get brainwashed again.

From what I understand Corey the TNT episodes of Ultraseven, shown mostly in 1993, were edited(shortened), and this included, unfortunately, some of the battle scenes between Ultraseven and his opponents. You may notice this in other episodes as well. I did. There is one episode(I don't recall offhand which particular one) where it doesn't even show Ultraseven defeating the monster...one moment Ultraseven is fighting the monster, and then the next scene Dan is celebrating the victory with his MAT(Monster Attack Team) teammates. My first reaction to this was "What the hell?", until I realized that I was watching the TNT, english dubbed, and edited version of this great series. I am also not real fond of the dubbing either. confused

Some of these are actually errors (because it is a bootleg) for instance, they skipped the end of the battle when Seven finishes off Gander in the arctic battle. That was a glitch.

Another example is in the episode Island in the Sky, it glitches during Ultraseven's battle with Riggah, and I don't liek that because there are no clips on the internet iwht Riggah in it so I have no idea how he finishes him off (unlike the Gander clip)
