Ed, Edd and Eddy. This show shows what is best about childhood, while adding the impossible physics of Cartoons. It shows the spontanious air that childhood has, how one crazy thing can switch to another in an instant. I will never be able to decide who my favorite of the three eds is, There's Eddy, the one who is almost always ambitous, Edd "Double-D", the logical and smart, but somewhat nerdy one, and finally Ed, the one who is somewhat loveable and dimmwitted, and the one who has the simple pleasures of watching monster movies and goofing around. This cartoon is what will get me through my day, the insanity that keeps me sane, if you will. This is one of those succsessful cartoon series that hasn't been tainted by how popular it was and is. The early episodes showed the inocence of summer, and what children do at that time, and the later episodes that put them in school showed the same innocence most children inschool has while poking fun at school, such as in the episode in which their is graffiti stating "Eddy is a no-neck chump", in the opening scene, next to a classroom a poster says "NO ROUGHHOUSEING. We don't want a lawsuit" this is one of the best Cartoon series, with some of the best characters out there. |
