I've also been craving some Thundercats, Johnny Quest, He-man, Thundar and Voltron recently for no reason.  Just want some old classic animation

Crow, the original Jonny Quest is on DVD. So is He-Man.

Jonny Quest(1964)(all episodes) on DVD for sale at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Jonny-Quest-Complete...n/dp/B0001MZ7J6

He-Man on R1 DVD at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/He-Man-Masters-Unive...l/dp/B000ALM4GW

Space Ghost/Dino Boy(1966) and Birdman/Galaxy Trio(1967) are also on R1 DVD. You can find them for sale at DeepDiscount.com or Amazon.

I'm still waiting on these animations to be released on R1 DVD:

The Herculoids(1967)
Mighty Mightor(1967)
Moby Dick(1967)
The Fantastic Four(1967)
Frankenstein Jr/The Impossibles(1966)

(I have all of these on DVD-R but they're VHS quality to look at)

Thanks for the links. I was aware of He-man (I see it at best buy all the time but I'm too cheap to pick it up lol).

I'd love to watch the Herculoids again. The Rhino who shot pellets and Gloop and Gleek were my favorites. I'd also like to see the F4 with H.E.R.B.I.E. (who I never figured out what that stood for) and Spider-man and his Amazing Friends (but I believe Amazing Friends is on DVD already, but again, I'm too cheap).

I'd love to watch the Herculoids again.  The Rhino who shot pellets and Gloop and Gleek were my favorites

The Herculoids were comprised of:

Zandor
Tara
Dorno
Gloop and Gleep-shape shifting protoplasmic creatures
Zok-a dragon that shoots laser beams from its eyes and tail
Igoo-a fifteen foot tall rock ape whose body is made of solid granite
Tundro-a rhino-triceratops hybrid who can shoot energy rocks from his horn

Gloop and Gleep were voiced by Don Messick, who also voiced Birdman.

Zandor and Igoo(who only growled and roared) were voiced by Mike Road, who also voiced Roger "Race" Bannon from the 1964 "Jonny Quest" animated series.

Yeah, animation always had around a dozen voice actors for each show. Hanna Barbara cartoons literally had the same cast for each cartoon. Now we've got people like Phil Lamarr (Mad TV and Pulp Fiction guy who got his head blown off), John Dimaggio (Bender from Futurama and Marcus from Gears of War) and the guy who did Fry's voice in Futurama do a WHOLE LOT of cartoons now-a-days.

Yeah, JLU is awesome. I DVR'd all the episodes from Boomerang. (they air at 11pm every night) I'm waiting for the Blu-Ray release of JL and JLU.

Ohhh snap! Thanks for the info, I didn't even know.

I hope the Blu-Ray edition comes with less glitches and flaws. In several of the DVD's the order of the episodes is wrong, and in the JLU season one I believe, there's a very very audible audio glitch in my favorite episode (Divided We Fall). It's a long way until then, but I hope they at least put care into this release.

It's funny you mention that. During the airings of JLU, there's two or three episodes that's shown out of order.

cartoon network fails extremely. they come up with stupid and pointless tv shows. for example, johnny test, lame. I more prefer tv shows like the jetsons, now I also watch anime like rurouni kenshin. but in all, I like to watch shows like Roseanne, Fresh prince of bel-air, that 70's show and such now-a-days.

Man, I used to love Johnny Bravo when I was younger - but these days I wouldn't even have a clue what's on Cartoon Network Australia.
