MOTHRA is one of Toho's finest kaiju-eiga films. It's quality is second to none. Excellent visual effects, interesting story, solid characters, great musical score, and well-directed. Honda and Tsuburaya are at the top of their game here.

loved the film, in fact my favorite monster besides godzilla is Titanosaurus.
i do agree that his roar annoys me to death. but its still good.

Guess I am one of the few that actually liked Titanosaurus' roar...my major gripe was how Titanosaurus went out without much of a fight in the end.

I also liked T's roar. And IMO Titanosaurus isn't dead. Je just fell into the water. He could be just passed out...

That's wishful thinking but I'm pretty sure the chest wound from Godzilla beam/flame/ray did it in very funny

No! The lies! And there was no chest wound. Sure, sparks came from the impact of Godzilla's beam but nothing serious...

So I guess we're to believe that Titanosaurus, receiving repeated blasts in the torso from Godzilla's oral beam, just decided to go for a casual swim after being hit with these blasts?

At the very least Titanosaurus was stunned and wounded, to some degree. winky

If he's not dead, he's learned his lesson not to mess with the King of the Monsters

As you said Packmule:

Untill I see a whole busted into his body, he was just stunned and wounded and left for dead. But Titanosaurus would recover, just not as fast as goji.

I'm gonna have to say that with the humans and Godzilla teaming up on Titanosaurus, that dip into the ocean was his last.

I thought Titanosaurus was a decent Kaiju. He had a cool roar. No real amazing powers, but I liked the look. Just because he may have been killed in the Showa era doesn't mean he can't return in some other era.
