I have a wireless router Netgear WNDR3300 for sale. The router is in great shape just has some scuff marks on the top from it sliding off my desk a few times but it still works great.

I'm selling because I had to upgrade my router in order to get the internet speed I'm paying for.

I'm asking $15 plus shipping and handeling.

I'm selling my old Keyboard and Mouse because I just replaced them.

If anyone is interested I have the SteelSeries Z-board with interchangable keysets; this comes with your standard keyboard layout keyset, a gaming keyset (w a s d are replaced by arrows and a few other changes) and the Everquest II keyset. The mouse is the logitech MX510 (red) which was one of the most popular mice of its time. Both are in excellent working condition in fact I'm using them both right now as we speak.

I'd like to get about $20 + shipping and handeling for them both but I will negotiate. If interested drop me a message.

As some of you know I have been mulling selling my kaiju toy collection. I have decided to sell this collection. Before I list the figures I own I want to reiterate that I will NOT sell this collection off by the individual figure: I'm either going to successfully sell them all at once or not at all. I have decided on a final asking price of $130 because:

-these toys are used and that while in excellent condition are being sold "as is", without any warranty

-these toys should be priced in an amount that affords the buyer an excellent bargain on these figures while affording me, the seller a means by which to recoup at least some of the money I originally invested in these figures

-this asking price also takes into account my cost(about $10) to ship them to the buyer

I will list each figure and it's size, in this case either height or length depending on whether the toy is an upright kaiju or a kaiju on all fours. I will also list the manufacturer if this info is actually imprinted somewhere on the figure(and most have this mark). The year numerics listed below represent the film release year that each listed kaiju appeared and NOT the year the toy was manufactured. Most(if not all) of these figures were manufactured from the mid 1990's through the mid 2000's. winky

What I own:

  • 8" tall 1995 Gamera - Rocket Pro
  • 6" tall 1975 Titanosarus - Bandai USA
  • 5.5" tall '66 Neronga(an Ultraman kaiju) - Bandai USA
  • 6" tall 2000 Godzilla - Bandai USA
  • 6" tall 1962 Godzilla
  • 6" long 1968 Angilas - Bandai USA
  • 6" tall 1971 Hedorah - Bandai USA
  • 5" tall 1965 Gamera - Bandai USA
  • 5" tall 1966 Ultraman
  • 5" tall 1989 Godzilla - Bandai
  • 6" tall 1966 Baltan-seijin(an Ultraman alien monster) - Bandai USA
  • 5" tall 1968 Godzilla
  • 6" tall 1967 Guilala(from the film THE X FROM OUTER SPACE)
  • 6" tall 1964 Godzilla(from MOTHRA VS GODZILLA) - X-Plus
  • 8" long 2004 Angilas - Bandai USA
  • 4" tall/8" wide 1993 Fire Rodan - Bandai
  • 5" 1954 Godzilla(from the film GOJIRA) - Bandai USA
  • 3" wide 1996 "fairy" Mothra(winged form)
  • 6" long 1996 larval Mothra
  • 3" tall 1991 Mecha King Ghidorah
  • 2.5" tall 1993 MechaGodzilla (can be wound up and "walk" forward)
  • 5" tall 2004 Godzilla - Bandai USA
  • 5" tall Apatosarus (dino) (reared up on its back legs)
  • 2.5" tall 1966 Red King(an Ultraman monster)
  • 2" tall 1965 Baragon
  • 3" long 1958 Varan
  • 2.5" long 1970 Jiger(from the film GAMERA VS JIGER)
  • 2.5" tall 1968 Gorosaurus(from the film DAM)
  • 2" tall 1967 Gyaos(from the film GAMERA VS GYAOS)
  • 6" tall 1968 Godzilla - Bandai USA
  • 6" tall 1995 Destoroyah - Bandai USA
  • 1.25" tall orange colored 1995 Gamera keychain
  • three(3) 2" tall "Ultra" figures: Ultraman, Ultraman Taro & Ultraman Tiga

All of these figures/toys are in excellent condition and completely free of any kind of damage. They have literally sat inert on the same table for the past six years in my livingroom in a smoke free environment. I do not have any receipts for any of these figures which I bought from a toy hobby store in Atlanta(which closed in 2002), Oxford Comics here in Atlanta and online from Amazon. I amassed this modest collection between 1996 and 2010.

I will add photo(or two) later today.

By my own estimates this collection represents several hundred dollars(or more) investment from me: the '95 Rocket Pro Gamera cost me $35 when I bought it and I know the '67 Guilala was around the same price so those figures by themselves cost me around $70.

Most of the other figures I bought ranged from $7-15 each, including shipping.

My asking price: $130 cash or USPS money order. The USPS money order should be made payable to " Lee Merritt " . The spelling has to be correct! NO checks.

Those members looking to start a kaiju toy collection will get a great deal on this collection should they make the purchase. To "sweeten" the deal I'll throw in a brand new, unsealed Blu Ray copy of Godzilla Vs Biollante(1989) for free. The buyer gets this collection and the BD for $130.

I'm not going to utilize PayPal here: anyone interested in buying them can send me a U.S. postal service money order or cash. Since sending cash is risky I'd suggest a heavy mailer envelope. Sending the USPS money order is probably best.

I just got a new router so my old one is up for sale its in nice condition and works great I just wanted something a little more versitile.

I also have a cable modem too. The reason I'm getting rid of this is I upgraded my service with the cable company and when I did that they gave me a new modem and took away the cable modem rental fees.

I'll do both bundled together for $60 or separtly $30. Send me a message if you're interested.

I am going to try and sell all my issues of G-Fan. I have issues #11(1994) through the summer, 2010 issue. Seventy four(74) total. Earlier issues cost me $3.95, some $4.95 and issues from 2009 and 2010 cost $5.95 each.

I haven't calculated an exact amount on how much I spent on these issues over the years but it's over several hundred dollars obviously, likely somewhere between $340-$350.

The vast majority of these issues are in good condition but some of the much older issues are showing some wear and tear and might require plastic sleeves to preserve them long term.

Obviously I'm not going to try and collect any kind of amount of $ equal to what I paid for these magazines but I do think I can get back a third of what I paid for them. Right now I'm going to ask for $140. That asking price reflects getting back $1.50 on each issue($111) plus the cost of shipping(using USPS I'll likely spend at least $20-25.

Accepted forms of payment: cash or a USPS(U.S. postal service) money order.

To sweeten the deal for any potential buyers I'll throw in two(2) issues of "Markalite"(1991-mags featuring Ultraman/kaiju) and my half dozen issues of "KaijuFan" at no extra charge. I also have a very old "King Kong" mag(1977) I'll throw in as well although it has a few partially damaged pages.

In summary, seventy four(74) issues of "G-Fan"(1994-2010), two(2) 1991 issues of "Markalite" and five(5) issues of "KaijuFan" , all for $140.

Lee if I had the money I'd take you up on that offer I miss some of the older issues of G-fan and started collecting them with issue 17. BTW my name appears in the Destroy all Monsters issue from 1999. I'm listed as TJ VanSlambrouck.

I gave that issue to a Japanese foreign exchange student we had at my high school.

I got a mention in that issue as well, my entire name mentioned in fact.

I appreciate the sentiments. I've received an offer from Shawn(a member here) and will be sending him these issues by mail in the near future.

I hate to let them go but I decided about a year ago that I would no longer invest anymore money in kaiju toys or in these magazines. To that end I see no point in keeping any of these G-Fan issues around anymore. I already sold my toy collection to Shawn earlier this year.

I'm saving more money now and I absolutely have to continue to do that. I allow myself some Blu Ray and DVD purchases here and there(though nothing on the scale like years ago when I'd blow over $50-75 a weekend on DVDs) but for the most part the only money I spend now is on bills and essentials I need for work and day and day living. winky

I operate on a strict budget now. I allot about $25 a month to buy either one expensive Blu Ray or two(2) used or new(and discounted) Blu Rays. Some months I don't buy anything.

So...a few months ago on Facebook I got a message from a member of my adoptive family informing me that some old comics I had collected and stashed away, bought between the late '80's until 1996, had turned up and were going to be returned to me. These comics(before being boxed up and mailed back to me) were apparently looked at by a few people before being shipped and I was told that they may be worth something. I collected comics from the late 1980's up until about 1996. I lived on my adoptive father's property renting out a small, cottage style house next to my foster father's main house and apparently left behind these comics when I moved into a nearby apartment in early 1997.

I now have a heavy box of old comics sitting unopened in my closet right now. I had completely forgotten about them until that Facebook message a few months ago. I have no desire to keep them but I also have no idea how to go about selling them.

Anyone(or should I say gvamp tongue-1 ) have any suggestions on how I can turn these old comics back in my possession into cash? heyo

Best thing to do is catalog what you have when you have free time and google them. Then list the expensive ones on ebay the others do lots on Craigslist.

Comics aren't worth that much any more unless they're the very first issue of something or the first of a major comic event. One thing I can think of from that time period would be Marvel's Secret Wars but you might have just missed that.

I have first issues of Marvel characters "Nova" and "War Machine".

Tom, I like your idea of cataloging everything.

Thus far and from my inspection of what I have:

1. a LOT of "Iron Man" issues, a handful of older issues(1973-1978) and issues dating from 1994-1995 when Stark was using his remotely controlled "modular" armor

2. A LOT of "Wonder Woman" issues, again a handful of older issues(early to mid '70's) and issues from 1993-1995

3. a lot of "Spiderman" issues, a handful of older issues(70's) and from 1993-1995

5. the first issue of "War Machine"(an Iron Man spin off featuring Stark's friend Jim Rhodes in the WM armor) and about fifteen more issues of WM (1994-1995)

6. a 1987 issue called "Spiderman Vs Wolverine"

7. the first issue of "Nova" and the second issue

8. "The Death Of Superman" book(1993), all three "Superman-Doomsday Hunter-Prey" books, "World Without A Superman" book & "The Return Of Superman" book

9. a handful of "Night Thrasher" issues as well as "New Warriors" and "Force Works"

10. about a dozen "Fantastic Four" issues including a '70's issue in which Ben Grimm(The Thing) fights the Hulk

11. some "X Men" issues and a handful of Wolverine comics, one featuring Wolvie vs Deadpool

12. one "Darkhawk" issue

13. one "Bishop" issue

I'm going to catalog my inventory next week and then start trying to sell them. I'm hoping I can sell them all at once(or at least most of them). We'll see.

I went to this website and created an account: http://comicbookrealm.com/

I have created a list of what I have but it isn't finished: I still have to enter all my Spiderman, Iron Man, Wonder Woman & X Men comics issues. These altogether total well over 120 issues.

The value of what I have entered thus far: $70

I saw a first issue Avengers issue and a first issue Fantastic Four listed as being worth $30,000 each. freak out

Late edit(11/18): I have cataloged most of my comics inventory with only my Wonder Woman and Spiderman comics left to be done. Thus far the value of what I have logged is $150.

I have a 1965 "Tales Of Suspense" issue in which Iron Man/Captain America vs Titanium Man which is listed as having a value of $125 in mint condition. I listed my copy as being in "good condition" and its assigned value dropped a good bit. This issue is the most potentially valuable comic I own. Some '70's Iron Man comics issues I have are worth anywhere from $16 - $25 each but I only have about ten of them.

Hopefully after I catalog the WW and Spiderman issues(and some of the WW issues are from the '70's) the total value of everything will be around $250. Comic Book Realm.com says this total value is what I could reasonably expect to get by way of $ if I sell them to collectors or a comic book shop.

I hope so. Comic Book Realm. com has a forum section and a buy/sell/trade forum where I can post a topic about selling my comics.

I won't have time to catalog my Wonder Woman and Spiderman comics until Thursday of this week.

I'm going to call Oxford Comics tomorrow(a small comics shop two miles away from me) and see if they might be interested in buying my comics.

... though the comic market has went down a lot over the past couple of years
I wonder if that has to do with the overall and lingering lousy economy here.

I'm going to post an ad this weekend for these comics on both Craigslist(Atlanta only) and eBay(Atlanta only) to start.

I'm going to call Oxford Comics later today.

I'd avoid eBay Lee, between their fees and Paypal's you'll lose a good chunk of change. For example my brother in law won a PS4 from Taco Bell which came in the day before release. Had he listed the bundle which came with a game and a year of Playstation Plus on eBay he could have gotten $600 for it but after eBay fees and Paypal fees his total sales would have been $540. Instead he sold it on our local Craigslist for $525 or something like that and almost instantly sold it.

As for the decline of comics it's been going on well before the economy has been crappy but that probably plays a small part in it. I think the main reasons are people just aren't buying comics anymore and a lot of the older stuff is going digital so for $10 a month you have access to all of Marvel's current line up as well as classic. I don't know about DC because I don't pay attention to that.

Again good luck Lee I hope you can sell the comics.

Whoops. Never posted another update. Yes, I did finally sell all my comics via a craigslist ad. A young man in his mid twenties came by my residence and paid cash for all of them. He said he was a beginner comics collector. winky

Looks like I may have an interested buyer for my comics. I got an email from someone who said she wants to buy all of them. I'll know for sure tomorrow.
Any news on this?

After cataloging my collection at Comic Book Real.com the sum total of their estimated value was $214, taking into account the varying conditions of each issue.

I got $75 cash for them, not as much as I had hoped for but I wanted to sell them quick and get rid of them.

Thinking about selling a pair of "Half jacket" model Oakley sunglasses I recently received as payment for lawn maintenance work done for a neighbor of my dentist(whose yard I maintain once a month). This gent is a sunglass distributor by trade and gave me a pair of "Half Jacket" Oakley sunglasses that have a white/orange colored frame and are "Fire Orange" tinted lenses. They currently retail at Oakley's website for $120 plus shipping. A link to see them: http://www.oakley.com/products/6943/27334

I will probably never wear them. If I wore them while working I'd ruin them with scratches and scuffs in a day or two. I don't go out much so I would wear them sparingly if at all.

They are new(never worn), are spotless and come in a bag and with a warranty card but I have no receipt since they were given to me.

I would post them on Atlanta craiglist IF I decide to sell them. As far as my asking price, I see no point in selling them unless I can get a minimum of $40 for them.

Thoughts from anybody about this?

They are the "orange" colored glasses. (click on Fire Iridum to see that style).

I'm asking $40 plus shipping for a total of $45. I will accept cash or a U.S. postal service money order only.

These glasses have never been worn and are brand new with no marks or blemishes. winky

*I have them listed for sale on Atlanta Craigslist. If I sell them I'll post an update in this topc thread.
