... but I don't dislike Mothra vs Godzilla, it is IMO better then House of 1000 Corpses, the Halloween remake and some other Godzilla films
heyo

And better than many other Godzilla films, you'd agree?
lol

I'm not a huge fan of Rob Zombie either...but I think the key point here (and why I like this forum) is that we can all agree to disagree peacefully. groink!

I've decided to try and purchase some of the cheapie pan and scan DVD versions of Showa Gamera and Godzilla films on the market, purely from a collector's standpoint. To start things off I received these in the mail from Amazon late last week, and both for less than $20:

Japanese Monster Movies Collector's Edition-Volume 1/Disc 1: Gammera The Invincible(1965) and War Of The Monsters(1966) (Diamond Entertainment)

Destroy All Planets(1968)/Monster From A Prehistoric Planet(1967) double feature DVD (PC Treasures)

Any interest in purchasing the new 3-D version? I heard it came with the 3D glasses, Im actually kind of interested to see how the technology has evolved considering I havent seen a 3D movie in years.

I considered buying the recent update as well when I was at Best Buy. I'm going to watch the 1981 original this afternoon. If I like it I'll get the new version of this slasher horror movie on DVD this coming weekend. winky
