Kitten Kong....that was a good episode. Only problem with the show is the last season wasn't all that crash hot....a couple decent ones in the last season but it was very much lacking.

while the title rings doesn't ring any bells for me, only show by that title is a Canadian sketch comedy from the late 80's which is mentioned here. ....I don't know if that's the show you are referring to or not.

Is it true that the old British comedy series On the Buses was made by Hammer Studio's seeing the show I find it surprising but then again Hammer didn't only just make horror....it's more what it was known for.

Actually it did.

Also popular were the spin-off feature films made by Hammer Film Productions (On The Buses, 1971; Mutiny On The Buses, 1972; Holiday On The Buses, 1973)

So Hammer Only made the On the Buses Movies not the actual series....apparently the TV series was only a LWT production. I guess it's an easy enough mix up

I see the "Hammer" reference now. Not sure how I missed it the first time.

I remember my parents liked to watch some UK comedy TV series from the 1970's(I think) starring Judi Dench, who plays "M" in the more recent 007 "Bond" films. I cannot recall the name of this series.

I've always loved watching Britcoms. The ones I've been fortunate enough to see were:
Fawlty Towers
Are You Being Served?
Keeping up Appearances
Red Dwarf
Father Ted
The Office
Waiting for God
Blackadder and Mr. Bean
and finally Little Britain

I'm also a rabid fan of Monty Python

I've been wanting Spaced to come out on DVD here in the states because it's done by the same guys who did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Reason I've seen so many Britcoms is my dad was born in England and my grandmother and he loved these types of shows.
