This classic toon series from 1964 is being officially released on DVD, today, 15 August. I was sincerely hoping while out and about, yesterday, I;d find some retailer had placed it on the shelves a day early, but no such luck. Anyway, for any of you fans of Magilla and Mr Peebles, this series is now available on DVD. Mr Green. Amazon.com is offering the collection for $31.49 and Deep Discount DVD is offering the collection for $33.40

 Very true! I hadn't seen any of these toons in years, but as mentioned some time ago, my youngest brother and his wife have Boomerang on their cable system and I watch this and other classic toons, every time I'm up there! thumbs up

Pictured: how an episode intro of Magilla Gorilla would have looked on your TV set, back in 1964, when this animated series first aired.

Cool Beans! thumbs up I like those intro cards used for the old Hanna-Barbera toons. In fact, I purchased a set from someone on eBay several years back and the set includes a Magilla Gorilla, Yogi Bear, Atom Ant as well as a few others that escape me at the moment.....I believe even a Wally Gator! My youngest brother is a huge fan of Ricochet Rabbit and drives his wife nuts, because he can't just say, 'Ricochet Rabbit', he ALWAYS says, 'Ricochet...Ping...Ping...Ping...Rabbit!'.
