 Ok, match 1 is over, Geronimon wins and will go on to face the winner of the 3rd match, Eleking facing the loser of the 3rd match. Next match: Dolly vs Baltan, you can start putting your votes up, I vote Dolly becasue I don't like Baltan that much. |

I cast my vote for Baltan. I don't like him much either Corey, but I respect his toughness and determination to keep coming back and trying to defeat Ultraman. |

I agree. Not to mention the other monster's name: Dolly. Sounds too feminine to me. That'd be like naming a monster "Amy", or "Mary". crazy ...

Eh, it doesn't bother me. The fight will take place after i finish ripping both the monsters. The fight will be in Dolly's level which makes it interesting. Baltan: 4 Dolly: 2 |

By that you mean creating the sprites for the monsters and the strip? I see that word "rip" a lot Corey. What does it mean? From the context in which I have seen it used I gather that it denotes a download(or upload) of some kind? faster <!--emo&shifty eyes-->  <!--endemo-->

no, you were close lee, but "ripping" means taking an image or sprite for a game and making a sprite sheet, I'm a ripper and rip monster sprites that no one else rips, there are programs for it like amniget where you can play the rom on an emulator, taking out the background and take screenshots until you get all the sprites of the monster. After that, all that's left is copying them and making a neat and tidy sheet. I also do custom sprites, but I'm not as good with them. |

Thanks for the clarification Corey. I sure wish I could use some of your sprites(with your permission of course) on this board(as emoticons) , but for some technical reason they won't upload.

No, actually i jsut started early in the voting because I hadn't ripped there sprites yet, usually the voting would go on during the match. I havn't started ripping either f the monsters but I'll get to it soon. I'm a fast spriter, I can rip up to 2 full sprites in a morning if I want to rush it. |
