Hello!
Okay, to verify what I said previously here's one of my pictures which I made last month (took 2-3 days to make). The quality isn't brilliant, since I have no scanner I had to take a picture using my camera, also part of the drawing's missing. Well I took the pictue like 10 times and this was the best looking one, so here you go:

I might post more at some point (I haven't drawn anything for a while, too busy writting scripts!)

Tools I used:
1)Pen holder (with 2 different types of nibs)
2)Black Ink
3)Professional A4 paper
4)Screentone sheets of various kinds
5)Cutting Knife
6)Cutting Board
7)Ruler
8)Rubber (Eraser)
9)Mechanical Pencil
10)Brush
11)Tonehera (a special spatula used to stick screentones)
12)Light Box (a special type of desk)

Well, one of the scripts is for a short film due to start filming in November, the other script is for something else (but is a long way from finished).

I see. That's interesting. Can you elaborate more about this film? eyebrow

Well I'm not too sure at the moment since the idea might get changed, but it is to be an Action/Comedy film of about 10 minutes in length. The reason why I'm not too sure about the story is that I'm only one of the writters (There's 3 in total), at the start I had a very good idea and it's now been changed to a not-so-good-idea, nevertheless the film will carry on as planned and I'll be directing it. Also I have the intention of incorporating some animation to the film, but that's also still to be seen.

A production of this time duration would be classified as a film short, right? I know there must be a process involved, that is, you "shoot" the film, also referred to as "lensing". From there there is "post-production", that is, the editing of the "shot" film. After that you would attempt to market your work through a(film) studio of some kind...does this all sound correct? Or is it just a lot of hogwash? Mr. Piggy

Yeah that's more or less right. Mr Green

The process is:
1) Pre-Production (Writing Scripts, Storyboarding, Etc)
2) Production (Filming)
3) Post Production (Editing)

It's usually during Post-Production or just afterwards that you start advertising your film, but usually if you want to sell it to a film company you'll have to send them your script and if they like it THEN they'll make the film.

Despite the fact that I may have appeared, from my earlier post, to know something about the filmmaking process, in reality I don't tongue-1

Good luck with your short film. Is this an indicator of what you might like to do as a career? eyebrow

Thanks!
Yeah, one day I'd like to be a Director.
I'd really love to make a Godzilla movie! Mr Green
I'm actually studying Media at the moment, it's going pretty well.
Next year I'll probably be off to University.

I'd really like to do a Godzilla movie.
Perhaps I could interest you in hiring myself as the Godzilla suit actor, if for no other reason than to satisfy this lifelong dream I've had of smashing wooden miniatures in a Godzilla suit. Mr Green
