Ooh, they're nice! I see you've been keeping yourself busy! I really like the pic you've done of the original Ultraman! thumbs up |

Well, I did have extra time on my hands yesterday, as I was rained out from work. I will post a couple of these drawings every week. I certainly need the practice.

Well, practice makes perfect. I've been drawing all my life, but I wasn't born a good artist. tongue and cheek |

In my case, Johnny, I'm just hoping practice makes for some improvement. I have done pencil sketching since I was younger than you. I have always had a natural talent at drawing. My art teacher in high school wanted me to enroll in art school after high school but I had other plans. It has been a hobby of mine for decades. I hope to do it for profit eventually, maybe within the next 3-5 years. I do not have the same talent for art when it comes to the computer, but in time I hope to become passable at it. smiling jackass |

Well there you go packmule, if you have talent why no use it? It's always good to get paid for something you enjoy doing, I say 'go for it'. |

Indeed, my thoughts exactly. I will post another drawing(or two) tomorrow evening. Mr Green |

Member King Joe(Corey) sent me this bitmap sprite image of "Bloome"(an ULTRASEVEN kaiju), that he made. Looks pretty good to me. thumbs up

The sprites looks nice, did you say he created the Kaiju? I can't recognize it. Then again, I've not seen much Ultraseven. Mr Green |

I don't believe Corey created the actual kaiju, he just created the sprites that resemble the monster Bloome from the Ultraseven TV series. Did I get your question right? By that I mean was that what you were asking? eyebrow |

That's right, it's just that I'm not very familiar with Ultraseven, so I didn't recognise that particular monster. Mr Green |

I had the same problem recognizing this monster. The reason: I haven't seen this episode of Ultraseven yet.

Actually he was from Ultraman Leo, but Seven did have quite a lot of cameos in the series. |

Thread drift: Corey, I saw an article recently that said there's a new "Ultra" series being lensed in Japan by TPC: it's called Ultraseven X. Have you seen this article?

Yes, too bad no pictures have been released yet. I'm dying to see if there will be a new design, or if they will drop the old theme. SEBUN SEBUN SEBUN. |

I'm hoping, Corey, that TPC either retains Ultraseven's traditional look or makes some improvements on it without deviating too much from the original design. :) |
