I totally gave up on locating Atragon, locally and I knew the chances of locating a copy of, Space Amoeba was going to be impossible, so I placed my order on Friday with Amazon and I'm told I can expect them both by Tuesday, but in checking the tracking info, the discs are already in my state, so perhaps the UPS guy will be knocking at the door, tomorrow. :D |

Having conducted my own searches for these kinds of movies at Best Buy and Tower Records, unfortunately in vain, I believe you made a wise decision in ordering them online. You will enjoy them both. I have the MediaBlasters Atragon and will be ordering Space Amoeba tomorrowI have it on "DVD-R"...<cough, clears throat > ) :)

Well, I'm REALLY looking forward to receiving these titles. I've never seen Atragon and it's been years and years since I've seen, Space Aomeba. I just checked the tracking number, again and not much has changed, so maybe it will be Tuesday before the UPS guy comes a knocking. :( |

The Mediablasters Atragon is great. As usual the print is very crisp, and the features include chapter stops and trailers. The Space Amoeba release should be just as good. From what I have seen posted on other boards it may be awhile before Mediablasters releases another Toho "kaiju" film(after "Space Amoeba") I need to go and check out their site. :o |

Media Blasters has been a Godsend to American kaiju fans. I still haven't gotten--or even seen--ATRAGON, but eventually I'll buy it. |

Media Blasters has released a lot of Euro horror as well, haven't they? I've been quite pleased with all their efforts, but I hope the release of, Space Amoeba won't be the last for a while. |

The UPS guy just dropped off my Atragon and Space Aomeba discs! :D I love the artwork used for both DVD cases and I may actually attempt to hold off watching either film until tomorrow.......not sure if I can wait, they both look so good, but I purchased several titles, yesterday at a local Sam Goody that is among the stores closing and want to check all of those out, too. I have a sneaking suspicion that everything else may take a back seat to these titles. ;) |

While you're looking for more DVD titles consider buying another Mediablasters DVD release, a Thai film called Garuda. The movie features a giant gyphon-like humanoid monster. I have this also on DVD-R. It is very good. Thai lang with eng subtitles. I recommend it. :) |

I broke down and watchined, both, Atragon and Space Aomeba, yesterday. B) I thought Atragon was very good, enjoyed the film and Media Blasters did a fantastic job with the film. Not ever having seen the film before, I have nothing to compare it to as far as print quality, but no complaints, here. As for, Space Aomeba, it's been years and years since I've seen that film and I enjoyed it as much now as the first and only other time I'd ever seen it. I thought the beasties were great fun and the print looked great. Some nice bonus features, as well! I have heard of, Garuda, but never spoke to anyone who's seen it. I'll have to check that one out, I wonder if it can be found at NetFlix, if so, perhaps I can talk my roomie into placing it in her que. :D |

Actually you have...myself (sorry, just being a smart***). This film has the "feel" of an action movie, with lots of shootouts and some hand-to hand fighting sequences. I give this movie a thumbs up. :)

Indeed. Remember also Kimi that a re-release of Rodan(1956), along with War Of The Gargantuas(1966), is forthcoming in 2007 from Classic Media. faster <!--emo&shifty eyes--> <!--endemo-->

Whoa! I'd nearly forgotten that! I need to get myself a calendar and simply use it to add upcoming DVD releases to it and keep an eye on what's coming and what I hope to pick up.
