I'd nearly forgotten that! I need to get myself a calendar and simply use it to add upcoming DVD releases to it and keep an eye on what's coming and what I hope to pick up.
I use the "calendar" function within MicrosoftWorks on my computer, part of the Windows XP SP2 operating system on my computer. Not sure what op system you use, but I know 98, 2000, and XP all have "Microsoft Works" as part of their programs. eyebrow

You could also always use the "calendar" function of Monsterland Forums... tongue-1

Gee, that would be the wise thing to do, wouldn't it? I can never be accused of using my head to the best of my ability. <_<

This is definitely something to look forward to in 2007.

If you want Frankenstein Vs Baragon(1965) before next year I found some info posted at the Godzilla UK discussion site-there is an "All" Region Thai DVD of this film, very nicely priced at $7.50(USD) plus shipping, but available in Japanese language only, with no English subtitles. I have watched this film in Japanese language and, if you know the storyline, it's not a bad experience at all. The link for this Thai DVD of the 1965 Toho classic: Thai DVD of "Frankenstein Vs Baragon"

I may wait until next year too, before trying to navigate their website again. The "Mediablasters" site is, IMO, a kaleidoscopic mess to navigate, and I have DSL. freak out

That can be the killer for me in looking at too many sites....dial-up. maniac

My youngest brother has a very old computer, but cable modem and I jsut sit in awe at how fast that puppy goes! Mom has DSL and that's something else....makes me jealous, as I spend more time surfing the Internet than any of them and I have dial-up!

Indeed. I would not recommend that anyone using dialup to access the internet try to browse the "Mediablasters" website.

DSL is definitely better than dialup, but from what I have been told Comcast's high speed internet is even faster that DSL. I am going to stick with Bellsouth Fast Access DSL for now-their phone tech support has been good so far, though they are a little more expensive than I would like. freak out

Mediablasters(Tokyo Shock) is also releasing a horror film in December that looks interesting. The movie is called Nezulla The Rat Monster. It is available for preorder at various sites, including this one: DVD Asian.com-"Nezulla The Rat Monster" pre-order

That does look and sound like an interesting film.....are you tempted to pre-order this, Lee or will you wait and hear reviews on it?

I'm going to preorder it, as part of my Christmas present to myself. The other "parts" of my Christmas present:

Goke, Body Snatcher From Hell(1968)-from Xploited Cinema
Mothra(1961)-from CDJapan

Nice! Will this be your first order at Xploited? Tony is a wonderful guy, great to deal with!

Yes. I nearly ordered Grizzly(1976) at Xploited Cinema but I found it more affordably priced at DeepDiscountDVD, and ordered it from there instead. Though my multi-region DVD player is supposed to be able to play PAL format DVDs, it doesn't play the one DVD I have in this format, Madman Entertainment's Gojira(1954)/Godzilla KOTM(1956) Region 4, very well. I am going to invest in another region-free or multi-region DVD player, probably in December or January of next year, in particular a model that will play PAL format DVDs.
