That does look cool. Does each DVD come with 1 figure or what? Do they jack up the price because of the figures?

You get 3 or 4 figures per pack. As far as jacking up the price...well, maybe a little. Each set goes for $25, which is pretty good in my opinion.

Ok. That's not bad in my opinion, as new release DVD's usually sell in the neighborhood of 15-20 bucks so paying 25 to get those figures is a small price to pay if you are a fan of the license.

Another thing I should add to the list is Star Trek: Remastered, Season Two on DVD. It's due to be released in August, I believe.

I wanna buy season 1-4 of Stargate Atlantis. They would keep me busy for a few weeks. Hopefully I'll get a lot of money on my birthday to buy some movies. I really want the 3rd Resident Evil movie. I've been wanting to see it since it got out.

Nice list as always, Lee. Mr. Green

I have a huge wish list, but know I'll be hard-pressed to pick them all up. I definitely want:

Rodan/War of the Gargantuas
The Deadly Bees
The Man Who Could Cheat Death

I'm the entire third season behind in my, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea TV series. sadlyicon

Also, everyone keeps saying that, The Deadly Bees and The Man Who Could Cheat Death are Best Buy exclusives, but I'm hard pressed to find them available as a pre-order! angree

These are definitely added to my wish list. Great news, indeed. thumbz up

Lee, I have asked around, but can't seem to get any definite answer. Has both, The Man Who Could Cheat Death and The Deadly Bees been delayed?

Lee, I have asked around, but can't seem to get any definite answer. Has both, The Man Who Could Cheat Death and The Deadly Bees been delayed?

I have seen nothing posted on the internet about a delay in the release of The Deadly Bees(1967). Here's DVD Drive In's review of the film, and the announcement at the bottom that it will be a Best Buy "exclusive" available in July, 2008: http://www.dvddrive-in.com/reviews/a-d/deadlybees67.htm

The same goes for The man Who Could Cheat Death(1959), also announced as a Best Buy "exclusive" to be available in July, 2008: http://www.dvddrive-in.com/reviews/i-m/manwhocouldcheatdth59.htm

The Deadly Bees is listed for sale at Best Buy's website: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8902315&st=The+Deadly+Bees&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1882395

Here's The Man Who Could Cheat Death for sale at Best Buy's website: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8902351&st=The+Man+Who+Could+Cheat+Death&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1882398

I will be at Best Buy this Saturday and the Saturday after...and on the lookout for these two titles. winky

Lee, I've been told that only about one in ten Best Buy stores actually carry these! angree They said the best thing to do, go to Best Buy's website and punch in your zip code and it will give you a list of which stores are in your area and more importantly, which are carrying the discs.

Apparently Best Buy isn't satisfied with these titles being "Best Buy exclusives": they want them to be "Best Buy nine out of ten stores excluded from this offer". What a concept. Nono

I did punch in a zip of the Best Buy store nearest my residence this past weekend(Saturday). Both were listed in stock but, as I mentioned in another thread, I wasn't able to find them on the sales floor. A sales associate told me they were "probably" in their back storage room, as yet unboxed. Nono

This simply amazes me! Businesses wonder why sales are down?! People spend money traveling to a store that claims items are in stock, only to discover that isn't the case OR the items are still boxed in a back room and nobody makes the effort to get the items out and on the shelves. angree

Slightly off topic: Lee or anyone else that is a fan of sci-fi/fantasy....have you ever seen the 1976 Spanish film; The Fabulous Journey to the Center of the Earth? I think it looks kind of interesting, but haven't heard anyone ever talk of seeing this.

I've heard of this film but have never seen it. Here's the trailer:

And here's a review of this movie at DVD Drive-In:
http://www.dvddrive-in.com/reviews/i-m/julesvernejourney76.htm

Judging by what I saw in the trailer, it'll warrant me getting it for my DVD collection.
