But that feeling of disgust never really lasts very long, does it?

Occasionally the entire ride home, unless I've found something to replace that 'lost' disc. tongue-1

Cool site, thanks for the link! I was secretly wishing the DDD order would arrive, yesterday, but no mail at all...guess it gives me something to look forward to, this upcoming week. Mr Green

That's a good attitude to have Kimi. It beats punching the mailbox repeatedly, or the postal carrier...by a country mile! Mr Green ... tongue-1

My package of DVDs arrived on Wednesday and that night, I settled in with, Super Inframan....I loved it! Very 70s looking and for once, 70s looking was a positive thing. Mr Green The monsters from the center of the Earth were hilarious and their almost hysterical laughing was only slightly annoying. Overall, I had a blast with this film and have actually watched it, twice! thumbs up

Definitely more positive to look at in this film, Kimi, than me in bell bottom jeans, a shirt with an over-sized collar, and sporting a "Donny Osmond" haircut circa 1976, when I was 14 years old. tongue-1

:<!--emo&lol:-->Posted Image<!--endemo--> I've never been a fan of 70s fashion and it amazes me that it's kind of making a comeback. shocking

Indeed. Back in the 70's there were rules I imposed on myself as to what I would, and would not wear, either socially with friends or at school. Fortunately for me my mother and father were about 99.99% in agreement with them.

What I was willing to wear:
1. mildly flared leg bell-bottom jeans
2. leisure suits, as long as the shirt collars were not too gigantic
3. clip on ties(though I preferred traditional ties you had to "knot")
4. button down casual and dress shirts
5. jeans-Wranglers, Levi's and or Lee
6. standard tennis shoes, Wallabees, or other casual shoes like Rockports
7. crew socks(casual and athletic)
8. two piece suits(I had several, though I wore, more often, various colored blazers and khaki dress slacks)

What I was not willing to wear:
1. any clog-heeled dress shoes
2. Nehru jackets of any kind
3. bow ties
4. tube socks("knee highs")
5. three-piece suits
6. "Chapeau" style caps

My two favorite monsters from this film were The Drill and The Plant. I thought I had seen, through my viewings of various Ultraman television series on DVD, some outrageous monster renderings, but these two definitely were even funnier looking.

Image-Green with envy: The Plant, just one of a variety of monsters on parade from 1975's Super Inframan.

Couldn't have said it better, myself! Mr Green

Great image, Lee! I thought the monsters were quite cool and their almost hysterical laughing was at times, unnerving! I kind of liked the spider-beastie, especially when he was 'squished'! Mr Green

Knowing how you feel, in general, about spiders, I'm sure this monster's demise was particularly satisfying for you. faster <!--emo&shifty eyes-->Posted Image<!--endemo-->

When I saw INFRAMAN as a child that "squishing" scene stuck with me the most. I'm still excited and amazed that I finally have this great flick on DVD.

I'd never seen this film, I'm certain of that, but, thanks to recommendations I received, here, I am quite pleased that the film is part of my collection, too. Mr Green -- thumbs up

This film is coming up soon on my netflix queue. It should be interesting to see again. I last saw this about 18-20 years ago as a child and I only remember a couple scenes.

I never had the pleasure of seeing this film as a youngster, but sure have made up for not seeing it, now. I think I have watched this film about 4 or 5 times, since I purchased it. With both original language track and the dubbed track, just for laughs. Mr Green
